If you publish a new theme or switch between themes:

1. Open the Rubik Variant Images app.
2. Go to the Activated Themes tab.
3. Select your new theme from the dropdown.
4. Click Enable on Theme Editor and follow the same steps to activate the app embed.

Don’t forget to preview a product page to ensure the variant image behavior is working correctly. You do not need to reassign images — all configuration stays intact.

📌 Tip: Rubik’s image assignments are stored using Shopify metafields, so they persist across theme changes.
